Jacquie Elcox
President & Co-Founder
Jacquie Elcox is a trailblazer in the field of hearing healthcare, known for her expertise, innovation, and leadership. Board-certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences, she has spent more than three decades shaping the industry through patient-centered care, business excellence, and advocacy. An entrepreneur at heart, Jacquie founded Treasure Valley Hearing & Balance Clinic in 1990, growing it into a multi-location practice with three full-time clinics and several satellite offices. In 2017, she successfully sold the business to a major manufacturer but remained on board for three years, driving record-breaking revenue growth—even during the pandemic. Her influence extends beyond private practice. In 2020, she joined Earlens Corporation, where she built and led the Hearing Advocate Manager program. In 2022, she became the Director of Clinical Operations for Virsono, a subsidiary of Earlens, where she set the vision and mission for the company—guiding principles still in use today. Under her leadership, Virsono launched 19 new hearing centers across the country, while also making strategic decisions to close underperforming locations. She championed a culture of giving by launching the annual Sock Drop initiative, which collected socks for the homeless in communities where Virsono clinics operated, strengthening both company culture and local connections. A recognized leader, Jacquie has been honored for her contributions to business and community, including: - 40 Under 40 Honoree (2003) - Women and Children Alliance Twin Award Honoree (1999) - Treasure Valley Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist (2003, 2017) - Better Business Bureau Integrity Counts Finalist (2003, 2011) Beyond her career in hearing healthcare, Jacquie is a certified life coach, having earned her certification from The Life Coach School in 2019. She has also served on hearing missions with the So The World May Hear Foundation, traveling to Honduras (2011), Peru (2014), and Mexico (2016) to provide hearing care to underserved communities. Born in England, Jacquie's family immigrated to the U.S. in 1971, and she was raised in Idaho. While studying Speech and Hearing Pathology at Northwest Nazarene University, she was presented with the opportunity to start her own practice—a challenge she eagerly embraced. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother to two young boys, Jacquie cherishes her time with family. She enjoys Idaho’s great outdoors, from gardening and golfing to traveling, and continues to inspire others through her leadership, philanthropy, and unwavering commitment to improving lives through better hearing.
