Meet Hope Lanter, Au.D., CCC-A
Dr. Hope Lanter is a nationally recognized audiologist with over 15 years of experience in hearing healthcare. Her career has spanned clinical care, leadership, patient advocacy, and innovation in remote audiology delivery.
She has held key positions across the industry, including Head of Patient Experience at Yes Hearing, where she led initiatives that dramatically improved patient satisfaction and access to care. Prior to that, she served as Lead Audiologist and Director of Partner Success at hear.com, where she built and trained large-scale provider networks, reduced return rates, and developed patient-centered success programs that helped scale virtual care nationally. Dr. Lanter is also the founder of Dr. Hope for Hearing, a platform focused on public education and hearing loss awareness. Her insights have been featured in USA Today, CBS News, Forbes Health, and other national outlets.
Dr. Lanter’s passion for audiology was shaped early in life growing up just outside Winston-Salem, North Carolina. After helping her grandfather run a roadside vegetable stand at age 12, she developed a love for building relationships and working with older adults. When her grandmother received her first pair of hearing aids, the experience left a lasting impression—igniting a lifelong commitment to helping others reconnect with the world around them through better hearing.
She enjoys spending time with her children including many hours at lacrosse fields and marching band events. In addition, she enjoys all things DIY, watching live music and travel.
She holds a Doctor of Audiology degree from A.T. Still University, a MA in Audiology from the University of Iowa, and a BA in Communication Disorders from North Carolina State University.
