Meet Mark Drahn

About

Mark Drahn is a business leader and independent consultant with deep experience in operations, process improvement, hearing care, and medical specialty practice growth. He earned his BS in Business from Concordia University in Portland, Oregon, and began his career in manufacturing, holding roles in engineering, quality services, project management, operations, and sales while also overseeing facility construction across North America. This foundation shaped his passion for efficient systems, strong processes, quality outcomes, and sustainable business performance.

Driven by a desire to make a direct impact on people’s quality of life, Mark transitioned into hearing care. During his time with Audigy, Beltone, and GN ReSound, he helped develop the strategic business unit model for member support. He also built the Venture Group retail division through mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships, growing it to more than 30 locations across the United States at its peak.

As Clinical Excellence and Implementation Lead for Auris Practice Solutions, Mark leads the onsite implementation of the company’s MaestroFusion™ platform for partner practices across the country. He oversees launch readiness, trains and validates the clinical competencies of onsite clinic assistants, coaches both clinic teams and remote audiologists during live patient care, and ensures every implementation is positioned for a successful, sustainable start. His practical, hands-on approach helps practices adopt their new workflows with confidence while maintaining a high standard of clinical excellence and patient care.

Today, Mark serves as an independent consultant to hearing care practices and other medical specialties. Most recently, he organized and optimized the audiology and hearing aid business for a private equity-owned ENT consortium with more than 30 locations and over 50 audiologists. In addition to his consulting work, Mark and his wife own and operate a successful real estate and hospitality business, reflecting his continued interest in building and improving businesses across industries.

Mark was born and raised in Oregon and has recently made Minnesota his home. In his free time, he enjoys boxing, weightlifting, fishing, and leisure travel, preferably to warm, sandy beaches.
