Dr. Randi Pinno believes exceptional hearing care begins with getting to know the person behind the hearing loss. She takes time to listen, build relationships, and make sure her patients understand not only what is happening with their hearing, but also the choices available to help them hear and understand the world around them.

With over 10 years of experience in audiology, Randi has a particular interest in the relationship between hearing and cognition, as well as hearing aid amplification. She understands the significant impact hearing loss can have on communication, relationships, and a person’s ability to participate fully in everyday life.

That connection became especially meaningful to Randi early in her career when she worked with a woman with severe hearing loss whose family was concerned about changes they were seeing in her engagement and communication. After being fit with hearing aids, the change was striking—the patient became more engaged and began actively participating in the conversation around her. The experience left a lasting impression on Randi and reinforced for her just how significantly hearing can affect a person’s connection with the people and world around them.

Dr. Pinno earned her Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from Towson University in 2012 and her Doctor of Audiology from Towson University in 2016. She is licensed to practice audiology in Maryland, Virginia, and Connecticut.

Originally from St. Mary’s County, Maryland, Randi enjoys camping, reading, sports, and spending time outdoors with her husband, two children, and their golden retriever, Pippin. During her fourth-year doctoral externship, she also had the memorable opportunity to perform hearing screenings for the Jacksonville Jaguars as part of the team’s preseason health screenings.
