Clinical Audiologist | Committed to Learning, Listening & Personalized Care
Meet Andrea Martin, Au.D., CCC-A
Andrea Martin approaches audiology with curiosity, warmth, and a deep respect for each patient’s individual story. With a strong belief that hearing care is constantly evolving, she is passionate about staying current with research and technology—and translating that knowledge into practical, personalized guidance that improves everyday life for her patients. As part of the MaestroAuD™ remote diagnostic team, she collaborates with care partners through a secure hybrid care model to deliver thoughtful, patient-centered audiologic services.
Dr. Martin earned her Doctor of Audiology from Northwestern University and her Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan. Her clinical interests include hearing conservation, tinnitus, and adult hearing device fittings, areas where education and prevention play a vital role in long-term hearing health. She has also been actively involved in community outreach, teaching university music students about the importance of hearing protection, and has participated in humanitarian trips to Guatemala, providing hearing care to individuals who might otherwise lack access to audiology services.
Andrea’s approach to care begins with listening. She takes time to understand why a patient sought care in the first place, creating space for meaningful conversation before offering recommendations. By combining evidence-based practice with warmth and personalization, she helps patients feel informed, supported, and confident in their hearing decisions.
Originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan, Andrea enjoys staying active outdoors—whether hiking, biking, or spending time on the water. She also loves reading novels and exploring creative outlets, with watercolor painting currently at the top of her list. Andrea and her husband share a daily ritual of ending each day with a walk alongside their dog, a simple routine that reflects her appreciation for balance and connection.
She is guided by a favorite quote from When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi:
“Human knowledge is never contained in one person. It grows from the relationships we create between each other and the world, and still it is never complete.”
