Meet J. Connon Samuel

J. Connon Samuel is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of experience as a visionary leader and innovator in the hearing healthcare industry with a proven track record of developing people, processes, and products that drive highly impactful and scalable results. In the past two decades, he has developed a revolutionary, patient-centric, hybrid virtual and in-person audiology care model, creating a world-class, personalized and meaningful experience for the patient. This approach partners with ENT practices to meet their hearing, testing, and treatment needs, removing the burden of managing this division from the ENT practices while simultaneously providing an increase in revenue. Additionally, this model also provides audiologists with the opportunity to work virtually, focus on the aspects of audiology they prefer, and practice at the top of their profession, ensuring the most meaningful and fulfilling experience for them as well. Currently, he serves as the CEO and Managing Member of Auris Practice Solutions, LLC, a premier management company specializing in empowering otolaryngology practices with scalable business models and operational excellence.

Prior to joining Auris, Connon was Chief Operating Officer of Earlens Corporation, where he directed critical functions including manufacturing, quality, regulatory compliance, and clinical operations. During his time at Earlens, he also served as CEO of Virsono Hearing Center, further demonstrating his commitment to improving patient care and expanding access to advanced hearing solutions.

Before Earlens, Connon served as Chief Operating Officer of Audigy Medical and Audigy Group, one of the leading and fastest-growing practice development companies for otolaryngology, neurotology, and audiology private practices. Connon was one of the lead executives integral to negotiating the sale of Audigy Group to GN Store Nord (parent company of ReSound) for $151 million in 2016, a transaction that showcased his strategic vision and ability to deliver transformative results.

Before his tenure at Audigy, Connon was Vice President of Business Development for Securitas USA, where he spearheaded the development of innovative security solutions for Fortune 500 companies. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly a decade in the high-tech telecom and data communications industry, holding executive and management roles at Granita Media, Redback Networks, and Lucent Technologies.

Connon began his professional journey as a lead contract structural engineer, working on ride design and infrastructure projects at Universal Studios Orlando and Walt Disney World. His unique blend of technical, business, and strategic expertise has consistently driven innovation and value throughout his career.

He holds an MBA from the University of Denver and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Central Florida.
