Meet Tysha Powell, Au.D., MPH, ACHE

With more than 25 years of experience in audiology, Tysha Powell brings seasoned clinical insight and genuine compassion to her work with patients. Her career has included both direct patient care and contributions to the expansion of virtual healthcare services, giving her a well-rounded perspective on how thoughtful technology and personal connection can work together in hearing care.

Dr. Powell earned her Doctor of Audiology from the University of Florida, a Master of Education in Audiology from the University of Georgia, and a Master of Public Health in Healthcare Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi. Her professional experience spans traditional clinical environments as well as large healthcare systems, where she supported the growth of telehealth services and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Her clinical interests include tinnitus management, cognition and hearing, telehealth and remote care delivery, and clinical education. She is deeply committed to evidence-based care that is practical, personalized, and rooted in listening first. Having worked extensively with adults navigating hearing changes later in life, Tysha understands how vital communication becomes—and how meaningful it is to help restore it.

Raised in southeast Louisiana, Tysha grew up with a strong belief that family is everything. That foundation shapes her approach to audiology. She treats each patient with respect, warmth, and attentive listening, striving to provide care that feels both clinically sound and deeply supportive.

Outside of work, Tysha enjoys staying active at the gym, playing golf and tennis, attending sporting events, and traveling. She prefers immersive travel experiences that allow her to connect with local culture and hopes to spend part of her future living abroad.
