Haley Cherilla, Au.D., CCC-A
Clinical Audiologist | Auditory Processing & Patient-Centered Care
Meet Haley Cherilla, Au.D., CCC-A
Haley Cherilla believes that one of the most powerful moments in audiology is when a patient finally feels understood. Early in her career, she has already seen how life-changing it can be when individuals and families receive clear answers—and renewed confidence—after struggling to make sense of hearing concerns.
Dr. Cherilla earned her Doctor of Audiology from West Virginia University and her Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. Her clinical interests include Auditory Processing Disorders (APD), cognition and hearing, and hearing aid care, along with a growing interest in clinical education and training.
Haley has a particular passion for working with patients who report difficulty hearing despite normal audiograms. Through comprehensive APD evaluation and personalized intervention planning, she helps patients and their families move from frustration to clarity. She finds deep fulfillment in seeing confidence return when individuals realize there is an explanation—and a path forward—for their challenges.
Her approach to care is firmly rooted in patient-centered communication. She prioritizes listening first, connecting test results directly to patient concerns, and ensuring that families feel actively involved in the process. She believes that trust is built through clear explanation, compassion, and shared decision-making.
Originally born in Germany and raised primarily in Idaho, Haley brings a broad perspective shaped by her military family upbringing. She now lives in Pennsylvania with her husband and their dog. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys reading, baking, traveling, and exploring history—both abroad and closer to home. She and her husband are currently working toward visiting every state in the U.S., one adventure at a time.
