Meet Haley Macy, Au.D., CCC-A

For Haley Macy, audiology is about connection—listening deeply, solving complex challenges, and helping patients rediscover confidence through better hearing. With nearly a decade of experience, she brings a calm, thoughtful approach to her work as part of the MaestroAuD™ remote audiology team.

Dr. Macy earned both her Doctor of Audiology and Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Before joining Auris Practice Solutions she provided comprehensive diagnostic and hearing aid services at Kaiser Permanente Washington and Puget Sound Hearing Aid and Audiology, where she also trained new clinicians and helped refine workflows in busy ENT environments. Her clinical background includes adult and pediatric diagnostics, hearing aid fitting and verification, and vestibular assessment—skills that contribute to her broad clinical insight and collaborative care style.

Known for her steady, patient-centered approach, Haley believes great audiology is equal parts precision and empathy. She takes time to understand each patient’s needs, explain results clearly, and partner with ENT teams to deliver care that inspires confidence and connection.

Originally from central Illinois, Haley now lives in Brooklyn, New York, with her husband, Ben, and their two dogs—Boe, a Labradoodle, and Bert, a Goldendoodle. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, CrossFit, puzzles, and board games, bringing that same curiosity and focus to life beyond the clinic.
