Meet Diana Sowers, Au.D., CCC-A

With nearly three decades of audiology experience, Diana Sowers blends clinical knowledge with a genuine passion for improving communication and connection. As part of the MaestroAuD™ remote diagnostic team, she provides audiologic care through a secure hybrid model that supports ENT practices and hearing care centers—bringing clarity, comfort, and understanding to patients across the country.

Dr. Sowers earned her Doctor of Audiology from A.T. Still University and her Master of Science in Audiology from Purdue University. Over her 29-year career, she has built a reputation for thoughtful, patient-centered communication and a dedication to helping individuals realize how better hearing strengthens not only their lives but also their relationships and communities.

Known for her approachable, down-to-earth style, Diana values collaboration and education in every interaction. She believes that hearing care is a shared journey—one where patients are active participants and support is always within reach. Her favorite moments in audiology come when patients experience those “light bulb” realizations, understanding how improved hearing ripples outward to benefit the people around them.

Outside the clinic, Diana brings the same energy and teamwork to her personal life. Originally from Northwest Indiana, she is deeply involved in Special Olympics year-round as a coach, partner, and volunteer. A former women’s professional football player and multi-sport official, she still thrives on camaraderie and friendly competition—especially when playing board or card games with her family. She is also an active member of her local Exchange Club, giving back to her community whenever she can.

Dr. Sowers finds her greatest joy in family time with her three adult sons and five grandchildren. Guided by her family’s motto—“Everyone does a little, so no one needs to do a lot”—she brings the same spirit of shared purpose and compassion to her work every day.
